Client Success

INDIA
A major Indian corporation with a construction division, a call-centers division and a Bollywood division worked closely with Knowledge Planning to rebuild these units as effective profit centers and to instigate a strategic planning format to address changing environments in India and abroad.

During the KPC-led early-stage study [2006] major underlying constraints were identified and a new mandate was proposed and adopted leading to a restructuring of the company as a private group of companies.

The evolution was successfully completed in May 2008 as our client reported that its profit margins were raised 230% compared to 2006 expectations and that they had achieved a 250% increase in total performance.

CHINA
Knowledge Planning served as chief adviser to a Chinese corporation with $300 million annual revenues to redefine its strategic plan, acquire US marketing partners, and redefine its product line.

As part of that strategic process review and advisory services to the client, KPC sourced candidates for both the Executive Board and the Advisory Board.

All requirements were defined, implemented and successfully completed within six weeks. (2007)

ISRAEL
Knowledge Planning was engaged by an early stage Israeli producer of revolutionary search and data mining/harvesting vehicles to locate and map best product line, best strategic option for company's growth, strategic partners and funding.

KPC's comprehensive services led to full funding by a best-fit strategic funds partner and the appointment of several highly qualified Directors to serve on the Corporate Board, including ongoing evaluative and advisory-participation by Knowledge Planning. (2008)

Based on its expertise and pioneering work on formative evaluation, summative evaluation and technology transfer turn-key operations and our preference for BOT business operations in the private-public enterprises, Knowledge Planning has been a participant in major efforts in the energy areas. The geographical areas of interest included most recently the off shore coastal areas of North West Africa and Brazil. The projects included: 1. security planning including four governments fleets [e.g., African international waters] 2. industrial preparation, and 3. piping and other delivery optimization. Knowledge Planning was a central participant in negotiation with numerous stakeholders and involved in the full gamut of financial planning and execution including the activation of public financing in the USA and elsewhere. These projects, some of which are still on-going, have been successful, notwithstanding the early minimalist expectation.
